定義
変動磁場により導電体内に誘導される循環電流。損失の原因であり、利用もされる。
電磁気解析における役割
電磁気解析において、渦電流はMaxwell方程式に基づく電磁場の計算に関連する。
$$ \nabla \times \mathbf{H} = \mathbf{J} + \frac{\partial \mathbf{D}}{\partial t} $$
